No US military build-up of this nature has been seen throughout the Caribbean region for decades. 1. B-52H Stratofortress Patrols Off Venezuela
Three Barksdale Air Force Base B-52Hs flew long orbits through the Venezuelan Maiquetía Flight Information Region, holding stations in international airspace but within radar distance of the Venezuelan radar system.
